The death of Issam El-Erian

Today, Thursday, Dr. Essam El-Erian, a leader in the Brotherhood, died of a heart attack in his prison cell in Cairo.

Other sources stated that Al-Arian had a heart attack after a very sharp discussion with one of the group’s leaders inside prison, about the group’s current situation, mistakes and future policies, and he breathed his last after all attempts to save him failed.


                                 
                                                                          The Brotherhood leader is serving a prison sentence in several cases, where he was sentenced to life imprisonment with 10 others, in the case of storming the eastern border, and another final sentence of 20 years imprisonment in the Al-Ittihadiya events, and the death penalty in the Rabaa dispersal case.

His name is Essam El-Din Mohamed Hussein Mohamed Hussein El-Arian, born on April 28, 1954 in the city of Nahya, Imbaba district, Giza governorate.

He held the position of Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, and was elected as a member of the Egyptian People's Assembly in several parliamentary sessions.
